Superba Krill Oil is More Easily Absorbed

Krill oil is more easily absorbed than fish oil.  The benefits of EPA and DHA from omega III fats are well known and now widely accepted.  However, similar fatty acids obtained from krill, tiny crustaceans that live and thrive in the icy waters of Antarctica, are shown to provide distinct advantages.

Krill oil fatty acids are in the more bioavailable phospholipid form rather than the free triglyceride for like other fish oil products. Krill oils naturally contain vitamin A and the antioxidant carotenoid Astaxanthin.  Krill oil is free of pollution because it comes from the pure icy waters of Antarctica.

Superba Krill Oil provides omega III in phospholipid form, primarily as phosphatidylcholine.  In the form of phospholipids, omega III fatty acids are more easily absorbed, transported through the blood, and delivered to organs and tissue.  Phospholipids are essential components of particles that transport lipids in your blood.  In the absence of phosphatidylcholine, transport of fatty acids to tissue is less efficient. Since the omega III fatty acids in krill oil are more bioavailable, beneficial effects are seen at lower doses than fish oil.
