Lipid Balance was developed by wholistic physician Mitchell Fleisher, MD to help his patients with dyslipidemia, characterized by high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, often accompanied by elevated levels of LDL cholesterol.

Lipid Balance contains Inositol Hexanicotinate (non-flush niacin), one of the mostly widely researched nutrients in cardiovascular research, along with unique ingredients that will not only help support healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels but will also prevent the oxidative damage to blood vessel and cellular inflammation, so often associated with dyslipidemia.

The effect of Inositol Hexanicotinate on dyslipidemia is well-documented. This form of vitamin B3 has been shown in research to raise HDL, the "good" cholesterol, by 15 percent to 35 percent. This makes niacin the most effective nutrient available for raising HDL cholesterol, an important step in preventing coronary artery disease. While niacin's effect on HDL is of most interest, it's worth noting that niacin also decreases your LDL cholesterol, “bad cholesterol”, and triglyceride levels.

Ongoing research continues to confirm that inflammation, low grade cellular inflammation, is a basic component of all diseases. That’s Why Dr. Fleisher included nutrients that will address the inflammatory components of dyslipidemia.

Lipid Balance contains Curcumin C3 Complex, a component of the spice turmeric and a well-documented natural anti-inflammatory. One of the major contributors to cardiovascular disease is the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Not only does this oxidized fat accelerate the progression of plaque deposits, it also results in the cellular inflammation that damages blood vessels. The powerful antioxidant polyphenols in Curcumin C3 Complex protects against peroxidation of lipids that result in oxidative damage to blood vessels. This process of oxidative damage is well known as the very beginning of coronary artery disease.

Lipid Balance contains Sytrinol, a proprietary formulation of citrus flavones and palm tocotrienols. More than a decade of research has demonstrated that components found in Sytrinol promotes healthy LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Sytrinol reduces LDL cholesterol and triglyceride production through its action on natural enzyme systems.

Lipid Balance contains Beta-Sitosterol, a plant sterol with a structure similar to cholesterol that will help normalize serum lipid balances. More than fifty years of research confirms Beta-Sitosterol, a natural plant sterol, to be highly effective in lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels.

Lipid Balance also contains Bioperine, a proprietary preparation of black pepper, which significantly enhances the bio availability and gastro-intestinal absorption of the natural components in Lipid Balance.
